NRD: Sally Port - 0001

From

Price

$49.99

Description:

This sally port—a fortified double-gate checkpoint—served as the final security barrier into North River Depot’s ultra-secure nuclear weapon storage and assembly zone.

All personnel, vehicles, and materials underwent rigorous screening here: ID verification, radiation detection, explosives tracing, and physical inspections conducted by armed guards and K-9 units. Only after clearance through the outer gate, vehicle trap, and inner gate could access be granted to the plutonium vaults, assembly bunkers, and igloo storage areas beyond.

Designed to prevent unauthorized entry and enable rapid lockdown, the sally port was the last line of human control before entering one of the most sensitive nuclear facilities in Cold War America.
